1) What are your prices? All prices are listed on the website under the Prices link.
2) Do you offer discounts? All students are given a $50 discount for any type of session. There is also an annual sale on family pictures for Mother’s Day. Check the website in late March/early April annually for details.
3) Do you offer payment plans? Yes, please call to discuss options.
4) Can I pay by credit card? Yes, you can pay through PayPal online. There is an additional $10 fee to pay this way. Go to Prices and click on the PayPal link.
5) How are your pictures different from regular family portraits at the mall? Our pictures are all unique. Many mall and department store studio are set up for quantity, not quality. Sometimes the individuals taking pictures there aren’t even professional photographers, they are just trained technicians. When you come to us, we make a very personal picture for you. We talk to you about what kind of photograph you want and create it for you from the ground up – be it an artistic black and white in the studio to an outdoor fairie-land in soft colors.
6) Where will the shoot be? Anywhere! We prefer to photograph small children at home or a place they are familiar with, like a favorite park or relative’s home. But we can travel to any location for your picture or you can come to our studio in Catonsville, just off the 695 beltway.
7) Will you shoot us at a special location, like the beach or the state fair? Yes, but there may be a mileage fee depending on how far away you want to go. Also, if the location you like is privately owned, we will need legal permission of the owner to shoot there. Call for details.
8) Will you shoot our family doing something we love to do together, like bicycling, ice-skating or horseback riding? Absolutely. We love making custom pictures that speak about who you are as a family and can definitely make pictures of your family enjoying a favorite activity together. Call for details.
9) How far will you travel for a shoot? No distance is too far, we’ve even shot pictures on other continents. 50 miles roundtrip from the base studio is included for any family picture. Additional mileage is billed per mile. Distances too long to travel the day of the shoot will be billed travel days. All expenses incurred during travel such as hotels, airfare, etc. must be covered by the client.
10) Can you include our pet dog/cat/bird/etc? Sure. We love animals and agree that it can be really fun to include them in a picture. After all, pets are part of the family, too.
